State Test
Mandated by the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), New York State administers annual English Language Arts and Mathematics tests. These tests are known indicators of success when high schools are reviewing applicants, and preparing well for the ESSA can be a great foundation for scoring high on the SHSAT-- the key indicator that New York City's best high schools look at for admission.

This course is for students in grades 3 through 8.

Honey's State Test course includes English reading, writing, vocabulary, mathematics, etc. The
teaching method is: entrance exam, lectures on new lessons, classroom exercises, class checking
and filling, check, exit check, and homework.
